Ugandan singer Big Eye Starboss has said that if the National Unity Platform (NUP) assigns its flag to another member instead of him, it will not be a problem, but it may slow down his political mission.

Big Eye, who was previously associated with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), joined NUP last year.
His decision to switch parties was seen as a major political move, as he had earlier shown support for the NRM.
The singer has been vocal about his political ambitions, aiming to bring change through leadership. However, he now faces uncertainty over whether he will receive the NUP flag in the upcoming elections.
Despite this challenge, Big Eye remains committed to his goals. “If the NUP flag is assigned to another member, that’s fine, but it will hinder my mission,” he said.
Big Eye is among several artists who have recently joined politics, following the example of NUP leader Bobi Wine, who transitioned from music to politics.
His supporters now wait to see how his political journey unfolds.
