Africa’s biggest TV show–Big Brother Africa–is back. Multi-Choice Africa has announced the audition dates for the 9th season of Big Brother Africa.
Uganda’s auditions for the 9th season of the Big Brother Africa TV show will take place early next month on the 7th and 8th of July at Sheraton Hotel. The actual BBA show will commence on the 7th of September later this year.
The BBA housemates will battle out for US$300,000 an equivalent of Sh750m for the 90 days the finalist will be expected to spend in the house. Rwanda has been added to the participating countries after Angola was excluded for this year’s edition.
Uganda has had 11 previous participants in the show. They include Gaetano Kagwa (2003), Maureen Namatovu (2004), Morris Mugisha (2008), Hannington Kuteesa (2009 & 2010), Phil Okure (2009), Ernest Wasake & Sharon O (2011), Kyle & Janette Lutaaya (2012), and Denzel & LK4 (2013).
Other countries that will participate include; Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
