SHE’S well known for her energetic on-stage performances, but it seems as though Beyonce might have danced a little too hard this weekend and ended up accidentally flashing the crowd.
The international pop star suffered the rather embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she graced the stage with husband Jay Z during Saturday night’s Global Citizen Festival in New York City, after busting out some vigorous dance moves.
As she appeased the audience with her typical enthusiastic stage presence, the mother-of-one’s lacy blouse burst open, revealing her flesh-coloured bra mid-way through the performance.
A video of the unfortunate incident has appeared online, showing the singer quickly placing her hand over her bra in a bid to preserve her modesty.
Every inch the professional though, Beyonce seemed utterly unfazed by the mishap and carried on her performance with her usual poise and enthusiasm.
Looking stunning, Beyonce wore her Dolce and Gabbana blouse with a pair of high waisted trousers and a statement, glittering necklace.
Beyonce’s appearance came as a surprise to the 60,000 strong audience who had only been expecting to see Jay Z.
However, the rapper brought on his megastar wife during the rendition of Forever Young.
She and Jay-Z were amongst a host of big names including Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys, No Doubt, Fun, Sting, The Roots and Tiesto who took part in the event
The star-studded festival, now in its third year, is part of the campaign to eliminate extreme poverty by 2030.
Tickets for the free concert were dished out to those who took action to help the organization meet its target such as petitioning world leaders through Twitter.
