Beyoncé made a fan’s night when she paused her concert to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.
The star was coming to the end of her ‘Mrs Carter World Tour’ concert on Sunday (February 23) night in Birmingham’s LG Arena when she approached Shehnaz Khan.
Beyoncé asked Khan for her name before proceeding to hold her hand and sing ‘Happy Birthday’ directly to her.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, Khan said of the night: “Incredible, when is that ever going to happen again!
“I was wearing a birthday badge, which she noticed early on in the show and she kind of nodded in acknowledgment.
“I can’t believe she stopped the show for me. I was leaning over the barrier holding her hand and not realising the camera was recording, everyone around me was going crazy!”
Khan and her five friends had been upgraded to the VIP area earlier in the evening after being spotted by Beyoncé’s management, who gave them a front row spot for the show.
Earlier this year Beyoncé surprised fans by joining them in a karaoke booth with former bandmate Kelly Rowland.
