AK47’s widow speaks at the singer’s burial early last year.

By Seguya Musa

Yesterday, 16th March marked a year since the Ugandan music industry lost one of the top singers AK47.

Everyone in the music fraternity remembered him yesterday including his widow Nalongo who wrote him a tear dropping message.

In the message Nalongo revealed the hardships she has gone through ever since AK47 left her including being insulted, struggling to take care of the twins the singer left her with and many other things. She posted:

“Today marks a year since u left us i don’t know how i have passed thru this year with all that was written about me in papers, some of Facebook bloggers, all the insults, false information to the public making fun out of your death to destroy me but it’s all God’ mercy…today am lighting candles for you and praying for your soul on a daily basis for our Heavenly Father to keep u closer to him.

You are truly missed ma Salongo, Taata wa bana bange. I know u watch on us from heaven everyday our guardian angel. I will continue be strong and pray to God to give me strength to take care of our children till my last breath. You are the best person in my life who left me with good memories.

RIP SALONGO EMMANUEL MAYANJA MULINDWA AKAY mukwano gwabanji”
