SC Villa president Eng. Ben Emmanuel Misaga has accused coach Sam Simbwa of insulting his players just days after relieving him of his duties.
In an interview with the Daily Monitor, Misaga accused the iconic football coach and former local star of failing to honour the club’s rules, principles and regulations. Among the breached principles was failure to appear to the club’s disciplinary committee to answer to allegations of insulting players.
“We invited him to the club’s disciplinary committee to answer allegations that he has constantly been insulting players but he refused to honour it and we decided to take action. There have also been other incidents such as that of a player who complained to me this week that he referred to them as rotten tomatoes,” he said.
The out spoken coach Simbwa was also accused of failing to put his personal differences aside and work alongside some team officials like Phillip Obwiny who was recently appointed as technical director at the club.
“When you add all those issues it was time to part ways,” he further remarked.
