The week has begun with heartbreaking news as dancehall singer Beenie Gunter’s long-time partner, Nickie Berry, has announced the end of their eight-year romantic relationship.
She cited issues of disrespect and infidelity as the reasons for their separation.
In a statement shared on her social media on Monday, March 24, 2025, Berry confirmed that she and the singer are no longer together.
“To my friends, family, and the general public, I am announcing that I am no longer in a romantic relationship with Beenie Gunter. This decision follows irreconcilable differences, including disrespect and infidelity,” Berry wrote.
She further stated that despite their separation, they remain committed to co-parenting their son.
“Despite our separation, we have chosen to co-parent our child and prioritize his well-being. I kindly request that Beenie Gunter’s fans and supporters refrain from tagging me in his posts or associating me with his personal life. I appreciate your understanding and respect during this time,” she added.
