Dancehall singer Beenie Gunter, real name Baguma Crescent, has finally dropped his new 25-track album dubbed ‘No Fear’. He collaborated with several stars including Eddy Kenzo, Lydia Jazmine, Big Tril and Nigeria’s Skales, among others on the album.
The album is composed mostly of Reggae, Ragga, and Dancehall vibes and is made up of songs that had been released earlier like Oli Wadala, Sekkle Down, Commando, and No Letting Go (feat. Lydia Jazmine) among others.
On the new album, he tackles different topics ranging from his life struggles, to overcoming his fears, to music journey, his dreams as well as betrayal.
According to the singer, the “No Fear” album had been in the works for almost 4 years and every song was recorded freestyle.
“This day means a lot to me,” he stated during the album release party held at Talent Africa offices on Monday evening. “I have worked on this album for about 4 years and have put my heart in it. I am excited to finally be releasing it.”
He further revealed that with his new album, he hopes to disapprove his doubters who thought he could not make it singing in patois as he “takes Uganda to the world with no fear”.
The No Fear album is available for streaming and online purchase.
