Garden City Rooftop was electrified last night as the highly anticipated Dancehall Heat Rave took place, featuring  Beenie Gunter. The event brought together dancehall enthusiasts for a night of thrilling performances, fierce competition, and unforgettable moments.

The highlight of the evening was an exhilarating dance competition judged by the renowned Ritah Dancehall. Contestants showcased their skills for the chance to win a coveted opportunity to perform alongside Dexta Daps on December 14, 2024. With cash prizes at stake, the competition was fierce, and the energy in the room was palpable as dancers brought their A-game, captivating the audience with their moves.

The lineup was nothing short of spectacular, with performances from notable artists including Lydia Jazmine, and Naselow Da Don, who brought the house down alongside Party Pipo, Nutty Neithan, Vampino, Dax Vibez and Jokwiz. DJ Tony, DJ KashPro, DJ Denno, and Sheila Salta kept the energy of the crowd up all night.

Each act delivered high-energy performances that had the crowd on their feet, but Ziza Bafana truly stole the show. His dynamic stage presence and infectious energy solidified his status as a dancehall legend, leaving the audience in awe.

As the night progressed, the crowd cheered and sang along to Beenie Gunter’s hits, including fan favorites like “Seekledown” and “Njewulira.” The atmosphere was electric, with attendees dancing and celebrating the vibrant culture of dancehall music.

Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group and organizer of the event, expressed his excitement about the successful night: “Last night was a revelation to the incredible talent we have in Uganda’s dancehall scene. The energy from the crowd and the performances by our artists were truly remarkable. We are thrilled to provide a platform for such talent and look forward to the upcoming performance with Dexta Daps.”
