With only two days to the general elections, Social Media is heating up with all types of fights as users show loyalty to their different presidential candidates.
The latest fight is a high profile one. Gagamel CEO and musician Bebe Cool is up in arms against the most sought after controversial anti-government Facebooker, Tom Voltaire Okwalinga also known as TVO. The fight is about money.
It all started when Bebe Cool posted on Social Media calling upon the youth to desist from engaging in violence during this fragile political situation in Uganda. He said; “I just hate seeing young people who are being misled lose their life because they only commit to what they don’t know.”
A volatile Tom responded by putting Bebe Cool on the spot for all the money he has eaten from the NRM to post such things. He said; “At least Social Media campaign is not done for money. Continue singing for cash and leave the people of Uganda to fight using their own methods. Unlike you, they are not fighting for bread crumbs.”
This attracted a lot of negative feedback to Bebe Cool’s post shortly before he deleted Tom’s comment. Here is a screen shot of part of the conversation.
