Bebe Cool to reward lucky fan with Shs. 3.7m

Ugandan singer Bebe Cool is undisputedly one of the most generous singers Uganda has heard.

Following the announcement that he will be paying school fees for 200 primary school children, the Gagamel boss has offered to reward a lucky fan $1,000 that translates to over Shs 3.7m.

The 41-year-old singer has taken to Facebook to start up a challenge that involves fans describing his life story in not more than 500 words, and the fan with the best story takes the reward.

“This is Bebe Cool then and now.They say pictures tell alot and these two pictures,one taken in 1994 and the other taken in 2018 have alot to say about me.

Describe my life story in a shot coment(Not more than 500 words) and you win 1k dollars(3.7M Ugsh) on boxing day.” Bebe Cool posted.

The Ice Cream and Cake festival returns this weekend. The family event which is now in its 4th edition will be held at the Uganda Museum on Saturday, 14th December.

It promises to be a fun-filled affair where revelers will indulge their palates in the sweet delights for which the festival is known for like ice cream, cakes, muffins and candy among others. To light up the day, there will be a rich line up of musicians including Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, Beenie Gunter and Levixone among others to entertain revelers.

Addressing media on Tuesday afternoon, Norman Kasule, the festival’s marketing manager revealed that this edition is dedicated to celebrating family and friends and will feature lots of giveaways such as free ice cream for all revelers. “As the year comes to the end, we thought to dedicate this edition to family and friends. We want them to come together and make special memories,” Kasule said.

“We have brought several partners on board who will be giving away lots of goodies like ice cream and milk among others.” He added.

Meanwhile, children will also be catered for in the day’s fun with a kid’s park with bouncing castles, face painting, and reading games  set up for them. Tickets cost 25k for adults and 10k for children.

Shillo is into fashion, music, real estate and she is also the founder of Shilloh Foundation and Bleak bar and lounge located in kyaliwajjala. Other than that, she is a professional accountant, with a degree in BCoM and also a good researcher. Shillo aka kezshillo is also a lover of charity and helping the helpless is where she invests most of her spare time and energy and she does this through her foundation.Shillo loves to play hard because works hard too and she plays on boat rides to islands, and also puts up at above the basic apartments. She is a lover of nice things and works hard to make sure that she can afford them for herself. She, however, hates fake people and pretenders, those that assume to be more than they actually are.“I love charity, and am charitable, my foundation is here for many, as a young woman, I believe women like me can change this world, and we should also keep voting for the reigning Miss Uganda in the miss world as she represents Uganda, which we all stand for,” she says.

Shillo is doing a Christmas charity with the youth of NBS youth voice this festive season and she seeks to bring Christmas to the less fortunate, vulnerable children and communities.
