The ‘prodigal’ daughter of the Gagamel family has confirmed the official dates for her Kukaliba concert. Rehemah Namakula aka Rema who a month back was announced out of Gagamel has set 18th, 19th and 20th October as the dates for her concert at Obbligato.
Bebe Cool, her mentor, will be holding his concert in September. The Rema concert is being looked at by many as a test of whether she’s ready to stand on her own. If it’s a success, then she will be applauded for having started the super path to stardom and musical maturity.
But since she has Bebe Cool’s blessings, Rema is bound to have a full turn-out. Rumour also has it, that Bebe Cool may grace Rema’s concert. “He has hinted at the possibility of attending the concert just to prove to people that there is no enmity between him and his mentee,” says a Gagamel fan that preferred anonymity.
It is believed that even though Rema left Gagamel, she still consults Bebe Cool on some issues once in a while.
At this concert, Bebe Cool will come and back her up on the songs they did together. And for Bebe Cool, this will be a win-win affair because Rema will have to return the favour the following month.
