Some people call him ‘Big Size’, he calls himself “Munene,” however, on the contrary the CNN team that focuses on music revolution in Africa don’t think he is as big as he claims.
In a show that discusses the revolution of music in Africa, with particular focus on Ugandan music the analysts on the show pointed out musicians who have failed to step up their game and Bebe Cool topped the list.
According to these analysts, Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool was referred to as a “stale artiste”. To support their claims, one analyst categorically stated that Bebe is one of the musicians in Uganda who’s been there and seen the revolution but has failed to break through to the mainstream internationally recognized musicians.
In the analysis, Jose Chameleone was greatly hailed for his effort in uplifting Ugandan music to another level and some other upcoming musicians who we believe might have been Weasle and Radio being referred to.
Surprising enough, Bobi Wine was not mentioned anywhere even when he’s got collabos with Jamaican singers.
