Ugandan music star Bebe Cool has revealed that he has already spent $700,000 to record his upcoming album Break The Chains and will need an additional $2 million to promote it.

Speaking to the media, the Gagamel International boss made a passionate appeal for government support, specifically asking President Yoweri Museveni to back local musicians who invest heavily in their craft.
“I’ve so far spent $700k just to record my new album Break The Chains, and I’ll need $2 million to promote it. President Museveni should support us,” Bebe Cool said.

The long-awaited album is set to be officially unveiled this week.
So far, only two tracks — Circumference and Motivation — have been released from the album, generating buzz among fans and industry players.
Break The Chains is expected to set a new standard for music production in Uganda, both in sound quality and global appeal.
Bebe Cool believes that with proper promotion and government support, Ugandan music can reach greater international heights.
