Musician Bebe Cool has today revealed why he will always hold his concerts at Serena. Speaking at a press conference held at Liquid Silk on Friday, the Gagamel boss revealed that the music industry has evolved over the years and he has also since moved away from holding his concerts in open space to indoors.
He further revealed that his focus has also shifted from numbers in attendance at a concert to the quality as a better organised and high quality concert will attract more corporate sponsors hence big money for the artiste.
However, he was quick to note that this does not mean he has forgotten about his fans in the general masses that can not afford the Serena standards.
“I no longer worry about numbers. I now focus on the quality of the concert which attracts more sponsors.” He noted, before adding; “If you can’t come and watch me perform at Serena, you can always watch me perform at the different shows organised by other promoters across the country.”
He also urged the government and local investors to think about setting up more entertainment spaces where music concerts can be organised, even suggesting innovative ideas like domes.
Meanwhile, he will hold his highly anticipated show this year dubbed the “Life of Bebe Cool” at the Kampala Serena Hotel, Victoria hall on 5th August with tickets going for 100K(ordinary) and 5 million (VVIP).
