Just after he had released his mega song Tombawala, Bebe Cool was accused of stealing it.
A group of rappers called the Lyricists are accusing the singer if stealing the song from them. They claim that after getting wind of their version of the song, he changed the bit, the lyrics and shot a video and called it his own.
They claim that the song has the same title, approach and concept cementing their case that the Gagamel boss plagiarized their song. The group has called on Bebe Cool to pay or they will take further action.
The singer however insists that the song is his and these are merely upcoming artistes trying to make a living off his name. He said that it is entirely his composition. Cool admits that the song was written by a one Andre and shot by Ogoppa and any claims laid on it by the rap group are false.
