Bebe Cool last week travelled to Vietnam to seek aid and knowledge on how to fight Tuberculosis in Uganda. The TB ambassador has successfully managed to get a 400,000USD grant and is headed back home with a smile.
Bebe Cool through his NGO Amber Heart Foundation has announced the money will specifically aid in areas of Kampala, Jinja and Mbarara.
The grant was received from Stop TB Partnership’s TB REACH initiative at a ceremony that took place in Ho Chi Mihn City, Vietnam. The TB REACH initiative is funded by the Government of Canada and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Bebe Cool was last year appointed Uganda’s Tuberculosis Ambassador and has been engaging in many charitable activities under Amber Heart Foundation, the latest having been last year when he donated over UGX.60,000,000 (Sixty Million Shillings) from proceeds of his Concert towards facilitating treatment of children with Heart defects.
