Uganda’s very own, Bebe Cool was warmly received in Harare for tonight’s Lion beer festival in the heart of Harare at Glamis Arena. He arrived at 11 aboard Kenyan Airways.
The Zimbabwean press describes the Gagamel band boss as “international act and one of Africa’s greatest talent.”
To the Mugabe land music fans, Bebe is a reggae dancehall artiste with Born In Africa, a rendition of the late Phily Lutaaya’s song as their favourite.
However, they are update with Cocidiosis as one of biggest club bangers.
According to the marketing manager of Lion beer, Bebe Cool and D’Banj were invited after a public vote in which Bebe topped the list. The festival has been graced by P Square in the earlier edition.
With press reviews praising Bebe, the highly anticipated “battle of Africa” featuring some of best artistes from all regions of the continent, tonight’s will be an unforgettable treat to the city of Harare. It is no wonder that VIP tickets go for $50. Bebe make us proud!
