Ugandan music icon Bebe Cool has opened up about the possibility of a long-anticipated collaboration with fellow legend Jose Chameleone.

While on his media tour in Nairobi, Kenya promoting his latest album Break The Chains, Bebe Cool sat down with Buzz Central Kenya and spoke candidly about his relationship with Jose Chameleone.
The two, often regarded as pioneers of Uganda’s modern music industry, have had a rollercoaster history marked by rivalry and reconciliation.
“Experience time has given us no option but rather to bond, and you can see that in all performances, most of the time I’m with Joseph by default,” Bebe Cool said, referring to Chameleone by his first name.
According to Bebe Cool, as artists grow older, it becomes almost inevitable to come together and form stronger connections.
“It’s automatic for people to get close when they grow,” he added, noting that a collaboration between him and Jose Chameleone is not only possible but could happen very soon.
Fans across East Africa have long wished for a joint project from the two legends who have dominated Uganda’s music scene for over two decades.
