Bebe Cool has shed light on the decision behind his upcoming album Break The Chains, revealing that it’s written and produced by Nigerians.
The artist, known for his versatility and influence in the Ugandan music scene, is now embracing the Nigerian wave of Afrobeats, which is dominating the global music charts.
In a recent statement, Bebe Cool explained that he’s following the current trend, where Nigerian artists are leading the way.
“Nigerians and their Afrobeats genre are currently conquering the world,” he said. He emphasized the importance of moving with the winning team, and in this case, it’s the Nigerian music industry that’s taking the world by storm.

“If Nigerians even manage to conquer America with Afrobeat, what about Uganda?” Bebe Cool posed, highlighting the vast influence Nigerian music has. He urged Ugandans not to shy away from reality, acknowledging that Afrobeat is now the number one genre globally.
Reflecting on his journey to success, Bebe Cool shared that he has come to understand the true essence of success: aligning with those who are already successful. “If you want to succeed, you must relate with successful people,” he added, noting that working with Nigerians on Break The Chains is part of his strategy to stay relevant and thrive in the music industry.
