MTV Mama Award’s nominee for Best Video of the year, Bebe Cool is a controversial man. While appearing on NTV Mwasuze Mutya Friday morning, the provocative ‘Byebyo’ singer said that he has little or no respect for Ugandans on Social Media.
Bebe Cool clearly put it to the show host, Faridah Nakazibwe, along with the listeners, that he would never make a decision based on information gathered on Social Media.
According to the singer, anyone who makes a career decision counting on support from Ugandans on Facebook would be wrong because they are not serious.
“I cannot be shaken by Ugandans on Social Media especially those on Facebook. Serious people don’t use Facebook, they are on Instagram. Look at the rest of the world, they are serious with instagram unlike Ugandans who like gossiping on Facebook,” he said.
Bebe Cool then added that he would never respect Ugandans on Facebook unless they change. “I can’t make a decision based on opinions of people on Facebook. They will mislead you if you listen to them. They have no direction and everyone says whatever comes to their mind.”
The singer has been under attack on Social Media in the past few days. Facebookers accuse Bebe Cool of being so arrogant to the extent that some for them held back their votes for him when he was nominated in the MAMA’s just so that they could see him fail.
The singer who is not ready to humble himself advised only his true fans to like his fan page and contribute positively to his career. He asked all haters to back off. We will keep you posted.
