Singer Bebe Cool acknowledged tycoon sir Gordon Wavamuno as the man behind his successful musical journey, calling him his musical father.
Bebe said this at his Friends of Bebe Cool concert that took place at Serena Hotel last Friday revealing that the WBS TV boss offered him a house and a 4X4 Mitsubishi Pajero and money to record an album when he returned to Uganda from Nairobi where he had gone in the 1990s to kick-start his musical career.
“I remember I even went home and told my dad how his best friend was supporting my idea of joining the music even though I knew that he never liked it and even we had already disagreed over the same issue”, Bebe told fans.
Tycoon Wavamunno later took to paka chini sessions as he danced to Bebe Cool’s Tokota song proving to the audience that age is just a number as the crowd cheered on.
