Months after its inception, Buganda Kingdom owned BBS TV is promising to be the best station in the land. Speaking to media, BBS TV CEO Joe Kigozi revealed that a plan has been rolled out to see the TV taking the number one spot in the next few months.

“We have the best picture and clearest signal on all Pay TVs. We are going to be able to fuse norms and cultural programing. We are going to teach people things that they didn’t know. For instance there are many people who don’t know that Kasubi tombs is one of the biggest sites in this country. You are going to see news from different parts of Buganda, Lukiiko meetings will be broadcast live among other things. This will make us number one,” Joe said.

Speaking about the recent poaching practice where TV presenters have been snatched from NTV by other stations, Joe said that theirs will be a fresh talent approach.

“We will not recycle faces. We want to get fresh faces and keep the viewer hooked,” he added.

The station opens on DSTV Uganda April 12th.

We will keep you posted.
