About a week ago, the BBC aired a documentary titled; “Rwanda: the untold story” which turned out to be a work of a revisionism agenda as far as the Rwanda genocide is concerned. The Rwandans and friends of Rwanda have thus opened up a campaign to petition the BBC Trust under the Editorial Standards Committee to come out and issue an official apology and to put down the false documentary.
The petition reads in part:
We petition BBC Trust to apologise to the Rwandan people, the genocide survivors, the Rwandan government, and Rwandan President Paul Kagame for the lies, generalisations, false accusations, innuendos and wild allegations made against them in the BBC documentary titled; “Rwanda: the untold story.”
