The annual Bayimba International Festival of the Arts kicked off yesterday at National Theatre. Now in its 8th edition, the three day festival presents Ugandans an opportunity to enjoy feasts of music, dance, theatre, film and visual arts from renowned local and international artists. This year the festival will showcase talents of over 625 individual artists coming from with in and outside Uganda; presenting over 102 productions, performances and presentations.
On day one, revellers were treated to performances from Maddox, gospel singer Levixone, rapper St. Nellysade among others.
