Barcelona legends yesterday visited Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of the world’s top mountain gorilla sites, in a tour organised by the Uganda Tourism Board together with Unicef and RG Football Academy led by the proprietor Rayco Garcia.
The legends tracked mountain gorillas during an afternoon session of the tour and will today head to the Murchison falls National Park for their second venue.
Later, they will return to Jinja to visit the source of river Nile as they conclude the tour that ends on Friday 11th December.
The stars have already shown that they are really enjoying their trip to the Pearl of Africa with Patrick Kluivert commenting that, “In the short time I have been here, I have no doubt that Uganda is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We will give you good global coverage for both tourism and investment, because you have a lot to offer,” as quoted by the New Vision.
Dutch international Edgar Davids and Simao Sabrosa, lead the touring team that includes former goalkeeper Jesus Angoy, striker Santiago Ezquerro, former Spain defender Sergi Barjuan and Victor Munoz Manrique (the coach of the Legends team).
