The Latest we are getting from the Kamwokya based fire base Crew is that the wife to the Ghetto president Barbie Itugo Kyagulanyi has conceded defeat and admitted that she has learnt a lesson after the “Akalimo” charity concert turned out to be a massive success.
It is understood that during the planning of launch the first lady was worried that it being a charity concert it may fail but was always assured by her husband that she would take back her words after the launch.
The concert which was concluded last night at Freedom City on Entebbe road was graced by Various artists including Chard George Simpson better known as Mr G, who has so far done two duets with Bobi Wine one being clean and Out under the Africa Jamaica connect program. The mega success of the launch forced the mother of three to admit to close and even post on her Facebook wall to show her happiness and also admit the defeat and talk of the lesson that has been well learnt.
“It was not until Red cross trailers full donations drove out of Lugogo Cricket oval that I stamped and sealed the Akalimu Album Charity launch a success. Nothing beats joined forces. You did it! You raised donations worth billions of shillings. Am speechless. Love that spirit dear Ugandans and Salute to the brains and big heart behind Friday’s show. H.E Bobi Wine (Bobi Kyagulanyi) am humbled. Sigenda kudamu kukuwakanya. Nayize!” she posted on her facebook wall.
