Barbie Itungo, the wife to Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine aka Omubanda Wa Kabaka is currently in a fight with Bobi Wine’s manager Labeja Lawrence. The former Bobi Wine manager who was fired by the “Time Bomb” singer’s wife after she accused him of extorting money from the public and promising them performances by Bobi Wine, is in another row with Barbie.
“He used to tell people especially those upcountry that he would get Bobi Wine to perform at their shows. Bobi was of course not aware of this and would not turn up. Labeja would pocket the money and leave Bobi’s name to be dragged in the gutter. Barbie being a nonsense lady, she found out and fired him.” Said a close family friend.
Another reason for the Barbie-Lawrence fight has emerged. Bobi still deals with the man as he sees no problem with him. Despite the fact that Barbie chased Lawrence from accessing their family home, Bobi meets him around town where they work on some deals together. It has also been rumoured that Lawrence was acting as Bobi’s pimp which could explain why he loves him so much even after the wife fired him.
Barbie is now faced with a hurdle of pushing Lawrence out of Bobi’s life completely. The two are old boys of Kitante Hill school and are devoted to their friendship.
