On Easter Sunday, Kampala’s top party lovers gathered at the Arena Mall rooftop in Nsambya for the much-anticipated grand opening of Baoli Restaurant & Lounge, that was sponsored by the equally new Don Julio 1942 tequila brand.
Baoli and 1942 delivered a stunning, invite-only luxurious affair, that effortlessly blended elegance and pure indulgence.
Set against a dazzling backdrop of fireworks that lit up the city skyline, Baoli made its debut in unforgettable style.
The venue’s prime location offers sweeping views of Kampala, and sets the tone for what promises to be the city’s newest hotspot for exclusive premium dining and nightlife experiences.
The ladies were dressed to perfection, dripping in glamour and sophistication, while the gents kept it cool in smart casual ensembles.
A sea of celebrities, socialites, business middle aged entrepreneurs and associates, mingled across the beautifully styled space, sipping on exquisite 1942 cocktails and vibing to the rhythm of the night.
According to Simon Lapyem, the Innovations Manager at UBL, the Don Julio 1942 is going to be introduced in different premium party spots through a campaign dubbed the ‘Don Julio 09:42 Moment.’
The campaign involves a ritual being introduced to tequila and premium party lovers, that will see partygoers at every 1942 sponsored event raise their glasses and make a symbolic toast at the click of 9:42 pm. The symbolic toast, which was also launched at Baoli, marks the fusion of luxury, good vibes, and unforgettable memories.
“With Baoli, we’re creating a space where Kampala’s luxury lovers and premium seekers can enjoy moments of pure luxury. It is a moment to pause and appreciate the finer things in life. But we are just getting started with Don Julio 1942, we are announcing the arrival of the most premium tequila brand in the world, in style. At every party that we are a part of, we’ll take a moment and make a special toast at exactly 09:42, as a symbolic reminder to pause, savour, and celebrate with Don Julio 1942,” he shared.
The DJs kept the atmosphere electric all evening, with DJ Kasbaby and Spinny taking centre stage as the standouts of the night. Their sets were a hot mix of beats, keeping the guests entertained and grooving until late.
Now that its doors now officially open to the public, Kampala has a new address for upscale dining, and luxurious nights out at Baoli Restaurant & Lounge.
