When he had sex with his then girlfriend in senior five while at Mbarara Seconday school, Producer Balaam didn’t know that things would get tough for him months later. The Mbarara based producer who moved his Home tunes studio from Mbarara to Mengo has been dragged to court. The reason is that he is ignoring his child that he had with a one Shamim back in high school.
Shamim expected Don Balaam to look after the kid but he has been playing games. “He even failed to give her money for upkeep yet the four-year-old kid needs food and clothes and stuff,” said a source. The Mbarara community institute student decided to take matters further. Our sources reveal that she first went to Family and child protection unit of Mbarara and she was advised to take the matter to court.
She took the advice and dragged the “Ninze Gwe” singer to court. Don Balaam will appear before the grade one magistrate in Mbarara on April 9th.
