Our sources from Bakri’s camp have revealed to us that musician Bakri who claimed that he was robbed and some of his house hold items taken from his Muyenga pad including a laptop is in huge debt. The source intimated to us on how the property was not stolen but merely confiscated by his debtors for failing to pay up.
Although the singer known for his 18 and over song came out later to cool things down and say that he was not actually robbed, many people had already taken the robbery news seriously. “Now this is it, following the robbery incident where Bakri’s Laptop was stolen, it has been identified that the whole thing was actually schemed by some guy called Ronnie, he is a guy who has been working under the singer’s Management. Ronnie claims that Bakri owes him huge sums of money and he failed to pay up. He then decided to take his property so that he could give him his money or risk losing his property,” the source revealed.
To cool things down, Bakri recently issued a statement saying that he was never robbed. The singer remained tight lipped when asked why his property was taken away. “It’s been 2 years now Bakri has been doing his music. Started with just the producers i knew listening to my music and along the way have gotten a few people who support and always request for more of it. It’s a bad thing for someone to come out and air stories about Bakri more so which are false and irrelevant. I do my music for my people and whenever am not tailoring i get time to go to studio or perform where ever am welcomed. I prefer to keep it that way so I have actually not been robbed by anyone and respect everyone where its due. So this story is not right. Thanks.”
