Sad news coming in is that former Team No Sleep singer Bakri is in trouble. The singer has been arrested in Arua for failing to clear hotel bills after he was duped with counterfeit money.
According to our sources in Arua, Bakri was given fake dollars by a promoter in Arua called Regan. He went to Equity bank in Arua town to have them exchanged only to be arrested for circulating fake notes. The source further revealed to us that the 18 and over singer didn’t know that the money was fake.
“The bank had to detain him at Arua police station for over 3 hours; negotiations struck where Bakri revealed that he didn’t know the dollars were fake and the money was given to him by a one promoter ( Reagan ) who is currently being hunted,” said the source in a phone conversation from Arua,
The source also told us that Bakri is now stuck in Arua. Hotel management has refused to let him go as he has some uncleared bills.
