Kampala City socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa a.k.a Bad Black has decried the government of Uganda over the number of Afghan refugees to be hosted in the country.

Earlier this week, the new State Minister in charge of Refugees, M.s Esther Anyakun, confirmed that President Museveni had endorsed the plan to host at least 2,000 fleeing Afghan nationals at the request of the United States.
According to M.s Anyakun, Uganda would host 2,000 Afghan nationals temporarily for three months or longer with the emergency landing of the first batch expected in the country anytime.

The initial group of 500 was expected in the country on Monday night, but they did not land for unexplained reasons.
The news has since prompted the public, diplomats, political and security leaders to condemn the deal between Ugandan and US governments highlighting the potential damage of the new foreign group.
However, Bad Black has proved to be among the flock in support of the government’s new deal moreover more excited than any other Ugandan.
Taking it to her social media platforms on Thursday, Bad Black cried foul of the 2000 number of Afghans expected as she requested the government to bring at least 9000.
“Dear government of Uganda please the 2000 Afghans won’t be enough for us at least 90000 awo nze am ready to shelter 10 of them in my house Allah said help the needy Yours LATIFAH I beggo,” Bad Black stated.
Uganda is among the 6 African countries that United States chose to host fleeing Afghan nationals after Taliban fighters, deposed by the American troops to bounce back to power in Afghanistan after two decades.
