Socialite Bad Black has revealed that her boyfriend, Asha Panda, is a professional boxer and she’s ready to have him take part in Uganda’s growing trend of celebrity boxing matches.
Speaking in an interview, Bad Black said she once wanted Asha Panda to face off with Zari Hassan’s husband, Shakib Lutaaya, but decided to step back out of respect for their friendship.
“I wanted Asha to fight Shakib, but since Zari and I are friends, I respect them,” she explained. “If there’s a promoter with Ugx 100 million, let them approach me and I give them my man. He can fight whoever is willing.”
Celebrity boxing has become a major entertainment highlight in Uganda’s showbiz scene. It started with Rickman Manrick and Grenade Official, followed by a bout between JK Kazoora and Shakib Lutaaya.
Recently, Shakib faced Rickman in a match that ended embarrassingly for him, though he has since demanded a rematch that’s yet to materialize.
With Bad Black now showing interest in getting Asha Panda involved, fans could soon witness another exciting showdown in the world of celebrity boxing.
