B2C soldiers also known as the ‘Kampala Boys’ are a music trio with Bobby Lash, Mr. Lee and Delivad Julio. The group was formed in 2016 under the management of Andy Events which they later part ways with.
The trio had huge breakthrough in the Ugandan music business with the release of their popular single “Wansesera” which struck the local waves and drew everyone’s attention resulting in a slew of admirers including Radio Mowzey (RIP) of the Goodlyfe Magic crew.
After a year of several hits, the B2C soldiers featured the Goodlyfe crew on a song released in 2017 titled “Gutamiiza” and today we bring you how it all came about.
This love song was mastered and produced by Nessim Pan Production and Radio Mowzey was the brain behind its lyrics. Radio Mowzey was a very creative, versatile and unique song writer and artist.
In an interview with Vybe Life UG, B2C Soldiers, they revealed that on the day of recording this song, Radio was holding a beer from which he got the tittle of the song — Gutamiiza.
Gutamiiza is a Luganda word to mean drunk or getting drunk, relatively, as Radio sipped his beer in bits, he realized that love and attachment are so strong and it seemingly makes people “drunk” and that’s how the song tittle came about.
Until now, The Kampala Boys are still surprised by how Radio Mowzey’s writing, voicing and lyrics were done while they were in studio with the crew.
