On Saturday night, Ugandans witnessed yet another beautiful show at Kampala Serena Hotel. The Strings of Love Concert was headlined by RnB singer Aziz Azion. Aziz has not been vibrant in the music industry since 2011 when he last held a concert but when his Strings of Love was announced, memories of his classics came back and many people were looking forward to the show.
With good songs that Aziz did about 10 years ago, Serena Victoria Hall was filled with revelers waiting to sing along to love songs. By 5pm, the crowds were already making their way for the show and real action started at around 8pm.
Aziz Azion came on stage at around 9pm receiving applause from the crowd. Fenon Events that handled the event production built a very beautiful stage for the singer. The stage was wide enough, it gave a very clear view for the audience, and the lighting added oomph to the stage together with the beautiful sound and the screens.
Aziz did songs like Nkumira Omukwano, Oxygen, Sweet Wakati and Chocolate girl among others. The other highlight was when he called on young talented singer Fresh Kids whom they performed together.
Other singers who came to support Aziz were Jamal, Rema Namakula and the other artistes were only seen in the crowds enjoying the performances.
