Legendary Congolese musician Awilo Longomba has confirmed that he is working on collaborations with two of Uganda’s biggest stars, Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone.
During a press conference ahead of his successful concert at Sheraton Kampala yesterday, Awilo revealed that he has exciting joint projects with both artists in the works.
Speaking about his collaboration with Chameleone, Awilo shared that they already have a beat ready, and the next steps include recording Chameleone’s part and shooting the music video.

Awilo also mentioned that he is working with Eddy Kenzo on another project. Though the duo has not yet completed the work, he expressed confidence that they will meet soon to wrap up the project.
The veteran artist added that he has also collaborated with Ugandan producer and singer Daddy Andre, hinting at more musical surprises for his fans.
