Singer Ava Peace has opened up about her plans for settling down, revealing that she hopes to walk down the aisle within the next three years.
The singer made the revelation during a conversation with a YouTuber, where she spoke about her views on marriage and why she is not discouraged by the negative experiences she often hears from married couples.
Ava said she has always admired marriage and wants to experience it for herself. She noted that while people frequently talk about the challenges that come with being married, they rarely highlight the positive aspects of the institution.
“Married people never speak the good things about it and always say they are there for the children, so I want to go there and see if it’s true,” Ava said.
The singer further disclosed that she is currently in a relationship and has no intention of looking for someone else. She believes her current partner could eventually become her husband, although she wants to see how their relationship develops.
“I don’t think my partner is like that [hard to be with],” she said.
For Ava, marriage is largely about commitment, loyalty and giving one person your undivided attention. She believes being married can help partners build a relationship based on mutual care and respect.
Explaining why she wants to get married, Ava said she values the idea of remaining committed to one person rather than having multiple romantic partners.
“Married people are commited and take care of each other because you’re focused on one person,” she explained.
Ava also described commitment to one partner as something valuable for a woman, arguing that marriage brings a level of dignity and respect to a relationship.
“As a woman, your greatest treasure is not sleeping around with everyone, so if you have one person, it’s a treasure since you aren’t loitering around with others. With marriage comes respect,” she added.
