Twitter is testing a major profile redesign that’s very reminiscent o fFacebook and Google+. Mashable assistant features editor Matt Petronzio spotted on Tuesday a huge update to his Twitter profile page, with the main picture and bio scaled to the left and significantly more real estate dedicated to the header photo. New Firefox users will soon be seeing advertisements when they open a new tab. Non-profit software group Mozilla announced in that it is rolling out “Directory Tiles,” a program that will place various types of content in tiles on the tabs opened by new users. Firefox currently populates these tiles with frequently visited websites. For new users, “Directory Tiles” will present users with elements from Mozilla, popular and geographically relevant websites, and “sponsored content from hand-picked partners.” As AdAge noted, Mozilla has not always been the most advertising-friendly organization. Soana Football Club became the first Super League club to be ejected from the Uganda Cup knockout competition yesterday. Paddy Kwizera scored the lone goal to give the Buganda Region League side, Seeta United, a shock 1-0 win in the round of 64. George Nsimbe, the KCCA FC coach, has said their opponents in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, El Merreikh, are a good side, but lack speed in their system of play. Manchester United manager David Moyes has dismissed reports that Rio Ferdinand will not take part in a warm-weather training camp. Craig Bellamy was banned for three games with immediate effect on Tuesday after accepting a Football Association charge of violent conduct. The charge arose out of the Cardiff forward’s clash with Swansea midfielder Jonathan de Guzman in last weekend’s south Wales derby.
