Airtel Uganda today made good on its pledge to donate 2 million shillings per Uganda Cranes goal scored during the just completed CHAN competitions. Airtel pledged to impact the lives of children in Uganda by improving and supporting schools across the country.  This has been done through their CSR program where a school is ‘adopted’ every year and it is taken under the care and sponsorship of Airtel. Senegal has been selected to host the 2015 African U-20 Championship, the ministry of sports announced on Wednesday in Dakar. In a statement, the ministry said three stadiums had been picked for the tournament set for March in 2015 after a workshop with the Football Federation. The facilities are Demba Diop and Leopold Sedar Senghor both in the country’s capital Dakar and Caroline Faye stadium in Mbour. Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a five-year sponsorship deal with Asian insurance services provider AIA, the Premier League club announced on Thursday. AIA currently sponsors Tottenham’s shirts in cup competitions, but it will become the north London club’s principal global partner from the beginning of next season.
