Thousands of Congolese attended the funeral Wednesday of Papa Wemba, a musician known around the world as the king of Congolese rumba. We have learnt with sadness that Tina Edelborg Larsen, the owner of one of the top nightspots in Jinja is dead. Larsen was the proprietor of Timelezz bar which is located along lganga road next to Cocacola depot in Jinja town. According to our sources, Tina is believed to have succumbed to a heart failure on Tuesday morning. Larsen’s body, who is of Danish descent, will not be returned home but instead will be cremated and her ashes thrown over the Nile as per her death wish.
