The Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) returns today for match day two since its kick off on Saturday 22nd, August 2015.

At the Mehta stadium in Lugazi, an epic fixture is expected between Uganda Revenue Authority FC and Jinja based side BUL FC in what has been dubbed ‘a renewal of acquaintances’. The two sides open their title quest with former BUL fc head coach, Kefa Kisala seated on the URA technical bench, deputizing Moses Basena while on the other hand Alex Isabirye will be in full control as head tactician for the visitors after leaving the Tax collectors at the end of last season.

Players in the names of Hashim Sempala, James Kasibante, Augustine Nsumba, Derrick Walulya and Osama Farouk among others will turn their guns on their former employers, URA, to prove to them that it was such a mistake to let them go.

KCCA vs Express
Baker Lukooya flies high past Express’ Shafik Bakaki in a previous fixture.

Elsewhere, the yellow army of KCCA fc and the Red army of Express fc will be out to determine the king of the jungle when the two sides meet today at Nakivubo stadium. Express thrashed the Kasasiro Boys 3-0 last season to end their title hopes at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

KCCA begun the season with a massive 3-0 victory over Sadolin Paints while Express settled for a goalless draw when they hosted Police fc at Wankulukuku.

At a shared home ground of Kavumba Recreational stadium, Police fc will be seeking to ‘arrest’ their friendly neighbours of Soana fc while Antonio Flores takes his SC Villa side to face off with Bright Stars in Matugga.

Today’s fixtures:

KCCA Vs Express – Nakivubo Stadium, Kampala – Live on Azam T.V (4:00 p.m)
JMC Hippos Vs Sadolin Paints – Kakindu Stadium, Jinja
Police Vs Soana – Kavumba Recreational Stadium, Wakiso
Bright Stars Vs SC Villa – Champions stadium in Mwererwe, Matugga
URA Vs BUL – Mehta Stadium, Lugazi
