Audio | Oma Afrikana Drops New Track “Wagwaako, Nze Aliko” – First Release of 2024

Ugandan artist Oma Afrikana has unveiled his latest single, “Wagwaako, Nze Aliko,” marking his debut release for 2024.

The song delivers a bold message as Oma Afrikana confidently taunts his girlfriend’s ex-lover, suggesting that the individual has lost an irreplaceable treasure.

The title, “Wagwaako,” translates to ‘Faded’ in Luganda, capturing the essence of the track’s theme. Produced by Robs Magic, the Afro Pop composition showcases Oma Afrikana’s exceptional talent as he skillfully navigates the rhythm.

Oma Afrikana burst onto the Ugandan music scene in 2023, making a notable entry with a collaboration alongside the acclaimed songstress Martha Mukisa. Both artists are currently signed under Black Magic Entertainment.

Noteworthy in his portfolio, Oma Afrikana takes pride in his EP, “Threesome,” and a collaboration titled “Nyonyi Nyange Remix” with the internationally acclaimed Ugandan singer, Eddy Kenzo.

The artist has consistently demonstrated his musical prowess, and “Wagwaako, Nze Aliko” adds another dimension to his growing body of work.

Fans can anticipate an accompanying music video, which is currently in the works, promising to visually complement the infectious energy of the track.
