It’s been so long since one heard from whom I consider Uganda’s best hip-hop mogul, Atlas Da African. After the “Ahh Ahh Ahh” song with Chameleone, it seems the brother went silent.
He’s done a lot, been in several collabos with Uganda’s best but has not fully been welcomed by Ugandans and according to several music critics, they believe it’s because many people prefer localized kind of Hip Hop from local musicians like Gravity, GNL among other.
Putting all that aside, he has not looked back and he’s still fighting his way to the top. Atlas has hit the studios again with one member of the Mayanja family for a new song dubbed “Game Over”. The two hit the studios a week ago and are working on what Atlas termed as a massive tune that is hoped to be out before the end of this month.
It should be noted that Atlas the African has not done any serious collabo with any other Ugandan musician apart from the Mayanja family ranging from Chameleone, AK 47 and now to Weasel.
