On May 1st, Uganda’s hip hop icon Atlas Da African joined city socialite and Diamond Platnumz fiancee Zari in Tanzania to be part of the All white party.
It was during this party that Atlas met South African rapper AKA real name Kiernan Jordan Forbes and the two are now planning a collabo that is anticipated to be massive considering the fact that it’s the best of Uganda teaming up with the best of South Africa.
AKA has several awards to his name including a Channel O award for best video, a South African Music Award for Male Artist of the Year and for the Best Street Urban Music Album.
He’s definitely caused a stir in the South African Hip Hop arena. He has curtain raised for international artists such as Kanye West, Snoop Lion, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross and Big Sean, in their South African Tours.
According to Atlas, the song will be out in a couple of weeks from now and this explains his long stay in South Africa since the 2 are hoping to have even the video done before the song premieres.
