By BigEyeUg Team; It’s still buzzling news to concede that one of Bobi Wine’s longtime strongholds also blogger, Katto Ashraf aka Ashburg Kato is no longer part of the People Power struggle that was started 5years ago.
The development comes in after the former anti-Museveni preacher revealing his exit from People Power movement and subscribing to Bobi Wine’s nemesis (H.E YK Museveni’s), National Resistance Movement (NRM).
The pencil-sized blogger who had bashed President Museveni for closely to 15years announced his departure from Bobi Wine’s camp on Tuesday evening in company of his friend ‘Ray Superstar’ and NRM’s Balaam Barugahara.
According to Ashburg, his brave decision landed after citing a number of indifferences and injustices in the red political movement.
Ashburg says his project proposal for ‘The Ghetto Initiative’ was maliciously turned down by People Power’s heads without deep consideration of how it would change lives in the ghetto, which same project has been accepted by President Museveni.
He also says that the entire People Power cabinet failed to provide COVID-19 relief to its vulnerable members like him (Ashburg) instead he was rescued by NRM’s Balaam Barugahara through the ‘Friends of Muhoozi team’.
Ashburg who claims to have been an NRM supporter before he joined People Power also claims to have faced tribalism in the former camp and suffered consequences of arrogancy from the members.
” Mbasoose okwambala engule. Yesterday, we visited President Museveni from his farm and he taught us farming. Thank you, Balaam Barugahara. I had gone to present my project proposal called ‘The Ghetto Initiative’ which is going to see all Kampala ghettos revived,” stated Ashburg.
“After teaching us all the basics of farming and rearing cows, the President gave me 5cows and he also gave my other team two cows each. He asked us to implement and teach the farming skills he taught us to our fellow youths. More details to follow. Politics is a bitch and Karma is just a coincidence,” he added.
However, Ashburg has promised to remain a staunch fan of Bobi Wine’s music but not political ideas.
We will keep you posted.
