The Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards (ASFAs), in collaboration with Joram Model Management (JMM), have officially announced the dates for the highly anticipated model casting.
The casting will take place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Motiv Bugolobi, bringing together aspiring models for what promises to be a life-changing opportunity.
According to Joram Muzira, the founder of Joram Model Management, this year’s casting is unlike any other.
For the first time, Naomi Campbell’s agency, Women Management, has expressed interest in the ASFAs model search.
“This is an extraordinary opportunity for models in Uganda and across Africa. Not only will they earn the chance to walk the ASFAs runway, but they could also be scouted by one of the world’s most prestigious agencies. This is more than just casting – it is a gateway to global recognition,” Muzira shared.
At the official press conference held at Nzou Media Hub, Brian Ahumuza, the visionary behind the ASFAs, praised JMM for their strategic partnership in raising the stakes of this year’s casting. “The ASFAs have always been about discovering and celebrating talent, but this year, we are opening doors to the world. I encourage every aspiring model to show up on November 9th. This could be the beginning of a remarkable journey,” Ahumuza said.
Echoing the spirit of this year’s awards, Solomon W. Muleyi, Creative Director at Adris Digital Africa—the official organizers of the ASFAs—emphasized the significance of the event beyond fashion.
“The theme this year is The Fashivist. We are redefining fashion as a form of activism, a powerful voice for change. By auditioning, models are not just walking towards stardom; they are stepping into a movement that is bigger than us all,” Muleyi explained.
Now in its 12th edition, the ASFAs continue to stand as Africa’s premier fashion platform, celebrating creativity, talent, and innovation across the continent.
This year’s awards will not only highlight groundbreaking designs and talent but also channel fashion as a force for activism—championing causes, sparking conversations, and inspiring transformation.
With the unprecedented involvement of Women Management, the ASFAs 2025 model casting signals a historic moment for the African fashion industry.
It is more than just an audition; it is a chance to be discovered, to tell stories through style, and to be part of a legacy that transcends borders.
