The star-studded ceremony was organized to recognize various artistes for putting out music that sends out a message of positive social change within the community through self-initiative. Several artistes doing different music genres were brought together, but all had one thing in common; singing to bring about change in society.

Among those awarded included Bobi Wine for his song “Tugambire Ku Jennifer”, which he released after witnessing the ruthlessness in the way KCCA law enforcers carried out their operations to air out the agony of the local populace.

Others awarded included; Benezeri, GNL, Santana, Angella Katatumba, Judith Babirye, Maurice Hasa, Maro to mention but afew.
