Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj laugh off feud rumors after sharing albums’ release date

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj have insisted they are still close friends after the rapper delayed her album release so it comes out on the same day as her chart rival.
The Starships hitmaker was originally set to release her upcoming fourth album Queen on 10 August, but she revealed on Wednesday, August 01, that she was pushing it back by a week as she was waiting to clear a Tracy Chapman sample, meaning it will come out on 17 August, the same day as Ariana’s new record Sweetener.

Both Nicki and Ariana’s fans were furious with the decision, complaining that the frequent collaborators, who have worked together on hits such as Side to Side, Bang Bang and Bed, will be competing with each other in the charts.
The popstar subsequently took to Twitter to insist that she has no hard feelings against Nicki and they’re still as close as ever.
