ObolWe previously published a list revealing a number of artistes who are eyeing political seats come 2016, and it seems that list keeps growing because yet another artiste has come out to declare his intentions of taking up political office come 2016.

Obol Simpleman from Gulu has come out to clearly say that he will be the next MP come 2016. He has already started the foundational stages of facing Gulu Municipal MP Acire Christopher with support of his wife Milly who lives in the UK.

The artiste thinks that Acire is not delivering on his promises and therefore the people need a new leader.

Other artistes who have declared interest in political office come 2016 include; Joaniata Kawalya for Rubaga/Wakiso, Eng David Katerega for Nakifuma, Eddie Yawe for Kampala central, Bukedde TV’s Dennis Katongole for Bbale county, Patrick Idringi Salvador – Nakawa, Kato Lubwama – Rubaga South, Comedian Kato Lubwama, Godfrey Lutaya – Kakuto County and Judith Babirye – Buikwe among others.
